Chris Andrews -
Centre Manager Playing for Success, Cheltenham Racecourse.

Chris has 11 years teaching experience through Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. Throughout the 11 years of teaching Chris has been a Head of Key Stage 2 and was Head of Year 6 for six years, this has provided him with extensive knowledge and experience of SATs. His curriculum strengths are Numeracy and Physical Education. Chris became the Centre Manager at Playing for Success at Cheltenham Racecourse in 2006, where his passion for sport has enabled him to develop innovative resources which link equine sports with the national curriculum.



Zoe Turvey -
Centre Assistant Playing for Success, Cheltenham Racecourse

Zoe joined Playing for Success in 2006 following her graduation from the University of Gloucestershire where she gained a BSc Hons in Sports Development with Leisure and Sports Management. During her studies Zoe undertook research into Playing for Success looking at the evaluation of the scheme, and since then she has been actively involved in the development of the project’s evaluation and monitoring systems. Zoe is also responsible for developing the organisation’s volunteer mentoring programme, as well as supporting teaching staff in delivery of sessions. Through working at the centre Zoe has gained experience in working with students in Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
