Richard Holmes - Centre Manager Playing for Success, Gloucester Rugby Club.

Richard manages Playing for Success at Gloucester Rugby. In addition to his role as centre manager, he has recently trained as a ‘Critical Friend’ and offers guidance to schools in the development study support provision. He is a trained practitioner in neuro linguistic psychology, and a member of the Institute NLP. As a fellow of the ‘University of the First Age’ and an accredited trainer for Edward De Bono’s ‘Six Thinking Hats’ and ‘CoRT1’ he is has a wide range of experience and knowledge of teaching thinking skills. In addition to this Richard has recently established ‘happiVERSITY’, a course specifically designed for students to explore emotional wellbeing. He is also a founding member for the Centre of Applied Positive Psychology. Richard has also worked in commercial radio and organised overseas expeditions for adults with disabilities. His lively fast paced delivery ensures fun interactive sessions for both students and adults.

Tony Brinkworth -
Transport and Health and Safety Co-ordinator Playing for Success, Gloucester Rugby Club.

Following a respected career in engineering Tony joined Playing for Success in 2001 when the centre first opened. Since he joined the organisation he has been ensuring that students are transported safely to the centre, and advises Centre Managers on health and safety requirements. Tony can be seen out and about on the evening school run, as students are transported to PfS at Gloucester Rugby in the new branded minibus.

Helen Chu - Volunteer Mentor Co-ordinator Playing for Success, Gloucester Rugby Club.

Helen has recently joined the Playing for Success team to help recruit volunteers to at our centers at Gloucester Rugby and Cheltenham Racecourse. Helen's a bright spark as she is currently studying for a foundation degree in sport at the University of Gloucestershire. When she's not working for PfS or studying, you'll find her showing off in her convertable VW Beatle!!!
