Gloucester Rugby PfS - HappiVERSITY

We have been working closely with the 'happiVERSITY' to understand if it is possible to be a happier person, and if being happier helps you achieve more. We're in the early stages of this project, but it certainly seems to be generating a lot of interest, so watch this space or if you’re really keen give us a call to find out more!

Gloucester Rugby PfS - Get fit for Success

We believe that staying fit can help us to improve our confidence which is why we are working with GL1 on a new study support based fitness and well being programme. The course is currently being piloted with Kingsholm Primary, but we hope other schools can access it later in the year. Watch this space!

Gloucester Rugby PfS - The Blue Stripy Grapefruit

This is an innovative project using drama and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Psychology) as a method of getting children and young people to consider behavioural change. We have been working with a number of local NLP practitioners and the Everyman Theatre on this exciting project. Drop us a line to find out more.

Cheltenham Racecourse PfS – Partnership with Pupil Referral Service

Since September 2006 we have been working with the Pupil Referral Service to provide an educational experience to help children excluded form mainstream education get back into local schools.

Cheltenham Racecourse PfS- Centre Pals with Yeovil Town FC.

PfS at Cheltenham Racecourse has teamed up with Yeovil Town FC under the Centre Pals initiative led by PfS South West.  Our aim is to strengthen links between Centres and help pupils understand life in different areas.  We are really looking forward to working with Yeovil Town FC and writing podcasts about what goes on at each others centres!

PfS Transitions

We have been working closely with Lakers School in the Forest of Dean to provide study support provision in this part of the county. The project operates similarly to the centre at Gloucester Rugby Club, however the centre is based in a secondary school and all the students are recruited via the local primary schools. The aim of the programme is to ensure a smooth transition from year 6 into year 7.
